membership
Participation in FVA is not dependent upon financial contributions. Rather, it is predicated upon your consideration to engage and invest the resources you may have available at your facility, within your company, and/or within your customer and client base, to Inform, Advocate and Act:
· inform: Share information and intelligence on proposals or legislation that would seek to limit the utilization of flexible vinyl products in industrial, retail, residential, health care, packaging or other applicable settings.
· advocate: In concert with other members of the FVA, consider offering your business resources, when called upon, to defend flexible vinyl against attacks from advocacy groups that may use misinformation to dissuade businesses, government agencies and consumers from freely choosing vinyl products. You will be provided resources and messages to conduct these efforts, in your own best interests, and those of the flexible vinyl industry at large.
· act: On a case-by-case basis, consider, whether you could mobilize advocacy resources, to the extent that is feasible, to counter the passage of legislation or other initiatives that would call for the de-selection, limitations or other proposals detrimental to the business of flexible vinyl across the entire flexible vinyl value chain.
